Best Book Apps

Research

What has Best Book Apps measured?

Two things readers ask us most: what reading apps really cost, and which ones can recap a book without spoiling it. Each study lists its sources row by row, carries the date we checked, and says what it could not measure.

Ongoing data

How we run a study

Every number comes from the seller's own page or the US App Store, read on a stated date. Each dataset row stores the source link and the exact text we read the figure from. Derived numbers (cost per credit, per title, per hour) are simple division, shown with the inputs. We publish limitations next to findings, and corrections carry a date.

Can I use the data?

Yes. Quote figures and charts with a link to the study page, and keep the check date with any price. The CSV files are free to download.

Who publishes this research?

Best Book Apps is published by Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. Studies follow the same editorial policy as our reviews and do not change any score.
